You'll encounter a relentless 14% grade that demands respect and precision, making this hard-rated trail perfect for drivers seeking to test their vehicle's capabilities and their own skill. The 1.0 km route packs genuine technical difficulty into a short timeframe, with most drivers completing it in around 18 minutes—though your experience may vary depending on ground conditions and your comfort level with steep terrain.

As you climb through the Tasmanian bush, expect narrow, deeply rutted sections carved by previous vehicles, with dense vegetation crowding both sides of the track. The steep gradient means constant weight management and careful line selection are essential. You'll be working your vehicle hard the entire way, navigating loose soil and rocky outcrops that test your suspension and traction control. The surrounding forest offers little room for error, so maintaining momentum without losing control is critical.
