You'll navigate steep grades reaching 17% that will have your engine working hard and your nerves tested as you ascend through dense forest sections where visibility can be limited and recovery options are few.

The track's reputation precedes it—only 37 vehicles have successfully conquered it, and you'll understand why within the first few hundred metres. Expect rutted sections carved deep by previous attempts, loose rocky surfaces that shift beneath your tyres, and tight switchbacks where precision steering is non-negotiable. The surrounding stringybark eucalypts and mountain ash create a stunning backdrop, but you'll have little time to appreciate the scenery as you focus on line choice and throttle control. The canopy closure means weather conditions can change rapidly, and wet conditions transform this already brutal track into something genuinely dangerous.
