You'll encounter a constantly shifting mix of deeply rutted sections, rocky outcrops, and creek crossings that will test your vehicle's articulation and your driving precision. The gully itself creates a natural corridor of towering vegetation and steep walls, delivering genuine isolation despite being within reach of civilization. Mud, water, and loose rock dominate the surface, meaning traction and momentum management are everything. The 5.2 km route typically takes 25 minutes, though this can vary dramatically depending on conditions and your experience level.
