The Boundary Track near Eildon delivers an adrenaline-pumping experience across 8 kilometres of rugged forest trails that demand respect and precision from any driver brave enough to tackle it.

You'll navigate relentless grades reaching 34%, with sections that will keep you firmly planted in low-range gearing. The steep pitches demand careful throttle control and strategic line selection—one mistake can quickly become costly. The narrow forest setting means limited visibility around corners, and loose surface conditions add an extra layer of unpredictability that keeps even experienced off-roaders engaged. Don't underestimate the physical demands; expect roughly 70 minutes of intense concentration and vehicle management.

Before attempting this trail, ensure your vehicle is in peak mechanical condition with quality tyres, functional lockers or locking differentials, and reliable braking systems. Carry recovery gear, as getting stuck in these conditions requires serious extraction equipment. Solo driving isn't recommended—bring capable spotters and other vehicles for support.
