4WD Tracks in Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains 4WD scene sits in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, with most tracks threading through the Blue Mountains National Park, Kanangra-Boyd National Park, and the surrounding state forests. The terrain combines sandstone escarpments, deep gorges, and forested valleys.

The Jenolan Caves Road approach tracks, the Megalong Valley access, and the tracks around Kanangra Walls are the recognised Blue Mountains 4WD destinations. The Nattai Wilderness fringe and the Coxs River valley give longer routes for experienced drivers willing to navigate proper back-country.
